Conference 2007




The Department of Equality and Social Welfare of the Junta de Andaluc�a (Regional Government of Andalusia) has organised the 3rd SEN@ER (Silver Economy Network of European Regions) Conference in the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos in Seville on the 15th and 16th of November 2007.

The conference was attended by around 500 specialists and was dealing with strategies and actions to improve the wellbeing of the elderly.

The aim of the conference, which has previously been held in Bonn and Maastricht, was to promote cooperation between institutions and companies. In this way new products and new services delivered to the elderly may be developed, making them more independent and improving their quality of life. The different themes of the conference centred upon the following: new technologies and an independent life, tourism and culture, nutrition and financial services.
